Before you can begin using online & mobile banking, you will need to call us at First NRV FCU so we can activate your online banking account. This will require you to have an active/valid email address on file with us. This information is necessary for the initial activation of your online banking, and will prevent you from using mobile banking until this is done. We can do this by the phone, but will need to verify your information, begin the account setup, and then walk you through the process of accessing the accounts for your first time. You can set up alert notifications for yourself through your online banking about certain types of activity on your account. These alerts can be made by e-mail/or text message, you just need to choose your preference when you are setting it up.
Now you can sign up for Text Banking through your Online Banking!
This will allow you to send a text-command to our automated text banking service, and once the text is received, you will be sent a list of the information that you have requested.
Receive your current balances, make transfers, and more!

Sign up for e-Alerts through your online account access/online banking to be notified of activity on your accounts!
Have your loan, share certificate maturity, and other notices sent to you electronically on your online account.
You can do this while you are signed in to your online account through this website.
This allows you to securely view all your notices online, and all you have to do is login to online banking to view them!
Beginning January 3, 2017, online account history will be available for all of our members.
For Hillsville members trying view account history prior to January 3, 2017, please call the Hillsville branch during regular business hours.
Online Account History will allow you to keep better track of your transactions, and also to help minimize errors within your check register to help prevent unwanted fees from hitting your accounts.
If you are currently receiving your statements by mail, you can choose to have your statements sent to you electronically through your online account.
You also have the option to have e-documents and a paper statement mailed to you.
This service is called eDocuments, and once you have signed up, you will be e-mailed when a new statement is ready for you to view.
As a security feature, the automated e-mail that you receive will not have a link to your online account and/or to your statement information.
This is done in and attempt to better safeguard both your personal and your account information.
You will be notified of your new eDocs every time you login to your online banking until you read your statements. So read them to avoid the repetitive reminders!
Once you are notified of the new statement, log in to your online banking account to view it.
First NRV Federal Credit Union Bill Pay allows our members to set up both one–time payments and recurring bill payments with ease.
Log into online banking and click the Bill-Pay tab to start setting this up for yourself.
Pay your bills, make P2P Transfers (P2P = Peer-To-Peer, similar to that of Venmo), and much more.
This service is available 24/7 through your online banking and is free of charge for all First NRV members.
ATTENTION: When you are first setting up your Bill Pay account, you will be notified of a monthly charge of $4.95 for using the Bill Pay service. This is not true, and this charge does not apply to any our members who use Bill Pay.
Now you can setup automatic transfers through your online account access. You can set these transfers up to be recurring, or you can make them a one time transfer, in the event that you need to replenish your accounts.
*If you do choose to set up transfers (both one time & recurring), don’t forget to include each transfer towards the 6 monthly transfer limit or else a Regulation D transfer fee of $20.00 will be applied to your accounts for each transfer over that 6 transfer limit! This transfer limit is only applicable to electronic transfers (This includes by the phone transfers, or transfers made through your online banking from your savings to another account. If you come in the lobby, the transfer made will not be counted towards this monthly 6 transfer limit.)
